Welcome to my site!

I’m videojournalist Glen Canning and I’m based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I’ve been having such a blast shooting and editing video I thought it would be fun to throw together a web site dedicated to just that.

I hope you enjoy what you find here and please feel welcome to share your tips and tricks. I also have put together a videojournalist gallery so send along a shot of you out shooting.

This is some of the kit I shoot with. My main camera is a Canon Xh-A1 with a Rode NTG-2 Microphone and a Sennheiser Wireless Lav Kit. A Canon HV20 acts as a secondary camera and a Nikon D90 with a f2.8 28mm lens is for stills. If I need to record audio I have a Zoom H4 with a Shure reporters mic.
